APRIL 22 – TUESDAY

7:30 PM – Now Chorale. Matthew Brown, music director. Oberlin students perform choral works by Oberlin composers. Music by Oliver Hecht, Jonny Ollendorf, Zola Saadi-Klein, Max Lang, Katharina Mueller, and Jacob Richter. Held in the Root Room in the Carnegie Building. Free.

APRIL 24 – THURSDAY

7:30 PM – Oberlin Jazz Concerts: The Oberlin Small Jazz ensemble including Oliver Needham (Vocals/Cello), Otto Allard (Mandolin), Zev Walker (drums), Scarlett Wightman (Trumpet), Ben Pelphrey (Trombone), and Ben Giesen (Sax) will perform a range of works by American Jazz trumpeter Lee Morgan. Cat in the Cream Coffeehouse, 180 W Lorain St, Oberlin. Run time: ~1 hour. Admission fee of $5 at the door for non-students.

10:00 PM – Student post-hardcore band False Spring return to the ‘Sco on Thursday, April 24th, joined by new student punk band Waste. From shoegaze atmospherics to noise rock anarchy, this show is for anyone who wants to dance (fast). False Spring will be playing their upcoming EP (slated to release this summer) in full.  Dionysus Disco, 135 W. Lorain St. Oberlin, OH 44074. Doors open at 9:30, music starts at 10. Free with OCID.

APRIL 26 – SATURDAY

4:00 PM – Fashion Club/Traditional Music Crossover Event  Join Fashion Club and Traditional Music Association for a cross cultural musical exchange, celebrating fashion and music from all time periods. Piece will include a duet between piano and guzheng performed by Carly Hsu and Jenny Wei.  “Dress to Impress” games and hanfu photoshoots open to all. Free admission. Wilder Hall, 135 W. APRIL 27 – SUNDAY

8:00 PM – Take Back The Night. A protest organized by SOSHA (Survivors of Sexual Harm and Allies). The event will include a celebration and speak out, with speakers sharing personal narratives or educational material on topics of sexual and gender-based violence. Peters Hall, 50 N Professor St, Oberlin. Free admission. Learn more about our mission here

APRIL 29 – TUESDAY

7:30 PM – Video Game Cover Collective Spring Recital. Works from Castlevania, Wii, Plants vs. Zombies, and more, arranged for chamber groups by Oberlin students. The Cat in the Cream, 180 W Lorain St, Oberlin. This event will be livestreamed. Free.

MAY 9TH – FRIDAY

9:00 PM – just past midnight: Solarity Bedazzled, Oberlin’s largest student-run concert of the semester. Headliner Monét X Change of RuPaul’s Drag Race fame will perform her original music alongside dancers! Additional outside act + student bands TBA. Sparkly outfits highly encouraged. Heisman Field House, 200 Woodland St. Oberlin. Free with OCID (guest list available soon for non-Oberlin attendees)
